Agnes was an inspiration to so many of us. As president of our branch, she was a warrior, a true leader who stood tall for all of us, who listened and who always fought for others and for what is right. But above all she was my friend. She loved Bobby Firmino, just like I did. And when we met, she would always ask me “how’s your dad getting on? How’s your nephew doing?”. Not to fill the space but because she knew the background, she knew what mattered to me and she genuinely cared. That was Agnes, someone who cared about people and who would fight for them.
