I joined UoN UCU committee because I knew I could trust Agnes, she was a powerhouse of energy, organisation, compassion and quiet leadership. Agnes worked so hard to support others and fight for justice but for me what stood out was her generosity and goodwill. She was my go-to person for any question or concern I had around casework, not only because she had so much knowledge and experience but because she had a quiet, calm wisdom. She helped me out so many times, including supporting puppy and child parenting. I wish we could have had more time to talk feminism, activism, and just share a love of Grace Petrie. A true feminist, gone far too soon, she'll be forever missed.
