I didn't know Agnes very well; in the year I've been at Notts, I don't even think we've ever met in person. But even through the dry channels that are WhatsApp chats, Teams meetings, and emails, the kindness, strength, and beauty of her character were plain. She was someone I was looking forward to getting to know better and hanging out with someday. She left suddenly and abruptly, too soon. I can't imagine the pain of her loved ones, of her colleagues, comrades, and friends who knew her better than me. I know she touched so many of us, without knowing it. Rest in power... spero sotto l'ombre d'un bel fior.
